		<description>I hate IT simply because they tend to be incompetent morons.  Yes, they can speak the technobabble - just enough to confuse everyone and make non-techies think that they know what they are talking about.

Coming from a true technical profession - development - I can tell you that your IT guy is almost certainly an idiot.  Their most valuable resource nowadays is Google, where they look up the answers (hint: so should you.)  

I have no doubt that IT people will get riled up over hearing this, but it's true.  I knew an IT guy who would come in every morning to manually run virus scans on each machine.  I knew another who, confronted with an IIS configuration issue, suggested that the machine be reformatted.  

Remember that virus that went around at work?  The network going down, costing you thousands of dollars in revenue?  The loss of data?  That was IT not doing their job.</description>
