Middle Managers Think Their Companies Are More Dysfunctional Than Their Bosses Do….. DUH!
Hey folks, got a follow-up email from Craig Neilson, who was on the show a couple of weeks ago talking about his book Results, as well as the cool Org DNA website. He sent me the results and guess what?
- Turns out that 54% of Senior Managers think their companies function really well.
- Only 33% of Middle Managers have the same opinion.
- 29% of Line Employees think their companies work well, but at least Middle Managers are within a couple of percentage points so they are only mildly in denial.
Simply proves what we’ve known all along- that Middle Management has the most realistic view of a company because we have contact with both customers and Company Leadership.
