I think this speaker (Gouldston) was very interesting. But while I was listening, I would frequently get frustrated and think, "why does this interviewer talk over him and try to express his ideas before he does, and do it clumsily, or say something that distracts from the point he was in the middle of making?!" That would be my constructive criticiscm. Lay off a little, take interviewing lessons, or really listen to good interviewers. Think about the audience always, and formulate your thoughts before you speak. When you have a good guest, you can really just let them make the show great. He was very gracious to you, but if you look over his list of Ten Self-Defeating Behaviors, he's put "Talking Over Others" on the list.

Anyway, great guest, important thoughts, mediocre journalism. I'm sure you can improve.
