Our friend Ann Andrews ( from show #43) and Teams From Woe To Go has some interesting statistics you might want to check out. If you’re wondering how you’re going to find the managers and employees of the future you’re not alone. Among my personal faves are:

32% of companies have Enterprise-wide training systems… (which means 64% don’t. You’re on your own kids)

77% of companies say they’ll increase their talent development systems next 3 years (only25% will actually do it. That last number is mine but I defy anyone to call me a liar when they budgets are balanced out in January 2009)

43% of companies cite a skills shortage among workers as their top challenge. Anyone know a good podcast they can use to help get things started?
