I think some of this is bunk. It's proposing that managers are "life coaches" for their employees. That's pretty offensive, to assume that someone outside a work context can assume authority over an employee's life goals not related to the job. And what about the cultural conflicts. Many places promote a culture ONTO their employees; so if an emplyee doesn't comply (i.e. their dreams don't align with their manager/life-coach) this proposes that a company remove that diversity for uniformity of control and culture.
