New Management Issues Article- Mind the (Generation) Gap
Just letting you know that my latest article is up at Management Issues. I really believe that at least in the Western world, we are seeing a generation gap bigger than the one in the 1960s that got the phrase coined in the first place. All that consultant talk- it’s not just talk. Companies and managers ignore it at their peril.
With a wife who is older than I am and a teenage daughter I’m living with this at home… and work is no sanctuary. people in the same workplace are living in different worlds which makes it really hard to schedule lunch.
